Chris Carey, Managing Member
Chris Carey provides strategic direction for Landin Services, with a focus on operational excellence, responsive service, and long-term program success. His experience in risk management and insurance operations helps ensure Landin continues to evolve while staying true to its client-first values.

Frank E. Jenkins, Jr., CPA, Managing  Member
Frank Jenkins brings more than three decades of leadership in accounting, insurance, and group self-insurance administration. In addition to his role at Landin, he serves as Managing Partner of Adams, Jenkins & Cheatham, PC, and Managing Member of Insurance Concepts LLC. His commitment to exceptional client service and a strong, family-oriented culture has been a driving force behind the growth and integrity of every organization he leads.

My career in insurance and service spans decades – starting with my early years building and leading Virginia’s largest self-insurance risk pool. When I acquired Metis in 2008, I drew on everything that experience had taught me. I was fortunate enough to build upon that knowledge and co-own Landin Services. Landin is built on precision, accountability, and a genuine commitment to our local customers. This is what continues to shape everything we do today.

In my role, what I’m most proud of are the long-standing relationships we’ve built with our clients and the standard of service we deliver every day. My accounting degree and MBA from VCU gave me the technical foundation, but it’s the trust our clients place in our strong local team that has driven everything we’ve built.

With a degree from VCU in Finance  with a concentration in Insurance and Risk Management, I first experienced Landin Services as a customer in 1991, then joined the company in 1998. From the start, it was clear this was a team that took claims management seriously. The responsiveness, the expertise, and the genuine commitment to protecting both employers and employees set them apart from day one. Nearly three decades later, that standard hasn’t wavered. Landin Services doesn’t just manage risk – we build relationships, and those relationships deliver real results.

I’ve spent 39 years handling Workers’ Compensation claims. When I joined Landin Services in 1998, I knew I had found an organization that approached workers’ compensation the way it should be approached: with precision, dedication, and a genuine focus on the people involved. Self-insured groups require a level of expertise and accountability that not every carrier is equipped to provide, and Landin has built its entire model around doing exactly that. At Landin, workers’ compensation isn’t a secondary line of business. It’s our mission.

Workers’ compensation group self-insurance is a specialized world, and after 39 years in it, I can say with confidence that the people matter enormously. From administration and marketing to underwriting, I’ve worked across nearly every dimension of this industry, and that breadth is what allows me to serve our clients as both a knowledgeable resource and a responsive partner. Making sure our clients have what they need, when they need it, delivered by someone who genuinely understands their business is what Landin Services is built on.

I hold a BBA in Accounting from James Madison University and began my career as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand. I later served as a Budget Analyst for Hanover County for a decade before dedicating 16 years to raising my four children. In 2022, I joined Landin Services as a Marketing Representative, bringing a strong foundation in finance, organization, and communication to my role.
